Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk Or use unsweetened almond milk for a lower-calorie version.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder Whey, casein, or a plant-based blend will work.
  • 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice The secret for a thick, creamy texture without adding banana or sugar.
  • 1 pinch sea salt Enhances the sweetness and depth of the vanilla flavor.

Instructions

Set Up the Blender Base

  • Pour the whole milk and vanilla extract into your blender first. Adding liquids before powders helps prevent clumps from sticking to the bottom.
  • Add the vanilla protein powder and cinnamon on top of the liquid.

Add the Creaminess Secret

  • Add the frozen cauliflower rice and a small pinch of sea salt to the blender.

Blend and Serve

  • Secure the lid and blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds, or until the shake is completely smooth, glossy, and has a thick, milkshake-like consistency.
  • Pour into a tall glass and enjoy immediately for the best texture.

Notes

Pro Tip: For an even colder, thicker shake, add 3-4 ice cubes before blending.
Make it a Meal: To make it more filling, blend in a tablespoon of nut butter (like peanut or almond) or chia seeds.
Storage Instructions: This shake is best enjoyed immediately. If you must store it, refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 24 hours. It may separate, so shake it vigorously before drinking.
Vegan Variation: To make this vegan, simply use a plant-based protein powder and a non-dairy milk like almond, soy, or oat milk.
