Instructions
Prep the Oven and Slice the Rolls
Preheat your oven to 350°F to ensure steady heat for even melting.
While keeping the rolls connected, use a long serrated knife to split the entire slab horizontally into two even sheets.
Build the Layers
Spread the mayonnaise generously across the cut side of the bottom slab, reaching all the way to the edges.
Layer the deli honey ham over the mayonnaise, overlapping the slices slightly to ensure every bite is filled.
Place the Swiss cheese pieces over the ham, spacing them evenly for molten pockets of cheese.
Replace the top slab of rolls and press down very lightly to join the layers.
Mix the Glaze, Rest, and Bake
Whisk the melted butter, poppy seeds, dijon mustard, onion powder, and worcestershire sauce until the mixture is unified and speckled.
Drizzle the glaze evenly over the tops of the rolls, allowing some to run down the sides.
Cover the tray with foil and let the sliders rest for 10 minutes to allow the bread to hydrate.
Bake the covered sliders for 10 minutes until the centers are hot and the cheese is melted.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2 minutes until the tops are golden and lightly crisp.
Slice the sliders and serve immediately while the cheese is gooey.
Notes
Pro Tip: Score the tops of the rolls by cutting halfway through before baking to ensure they pull apart cleanly once hot.Make-Ahead Tip: Assemble the sliders with mayo, ham, and cheese up to 24 hours in advance. Refrigerate them tightly wrapped, but wait to add the butter glaze until just before baking to prevent sogginess.Storage Tip: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in an air fryer at 325°F for 3 to 5 minutes to restore the crispy top.Safety Tip: Use a long serrated knife when slicing the rolls to avoid compressing the soft bread and to keep the layers even.Nutrition information is estimated based on common ingredients and serving sizes and may vary.
